Case study from an underground hard rock mine that shows how fragmentation analysis was conducted from different ore sources underground to determine the particle size distribution (PSD). After determining the PSD, statistical process control technique was used to determine the controls limits for fragmentation. Based on the results, a selection was made for the required size of the grizzly on top of an ore pass.
